फटाक्यांच्या कारखान्यात भीषण स्फोट, परिसरातील दुमजली इमारती कोसळली; ढिगाऱ्याखाली अनेक जण अडकल्याची भीती, बचावकार्य सुरू

वाराणसी : उत्तर प्रदेशातील वाराणसी येथील फटाक्यांच्या कारखान्यात झालेल्या स्फोटामुळे इमारतीची रचना कोसळली असून, अनेक जण अडकल्याची भीती व्यक्त केली जात आहे. या घटनेमुळे या व्यवसायातील सुरक्षा नियमांविषयीचा नेहमीचा वाद पुन्हा उफाळून आला आहे वाराणसीतील सारनाथ पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील सारंग तलाव परिसरात हा स्फोट झाल्याचे वृत्त आहे. घटनास्थळी पोलीस आणि अग्निशमन दलाच्या गाड्या उपस्थित आहेत. मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ यांनी अधिकाऱ्यांना त्वरित घटनास्थळी पोहोचून मदतकार्य जलद गतीने पूर्ण करण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत. मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी अधिकाऱ्यांना जखमींवर योग्य वैद्यकीय उपचार मिळतील याची खात्री करण्यास सांगितले आहे. तसेच, जखमींच्या कुटुंबीयांशी संपर्क साधून त्यांना सर्वतोपरी मदत पुरवण्याचे निर्देशही अधिकाऱ्यांना देण्यात आले आहेत.

Three individuals—two children and one woman—were recovered and immediately hospitalized for further medical treatment. Inquiries were made with the surrounding residents regarding other family members; during this process, it was noted that an eyewitness reported seeing the woman being pulled out from the debris. Furthermore, the NDRF and SDRF teams have conducted an initial search, which indicates that no one else remains trapped. Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, we will conduct a thorough re-check to ensure the site is clear. The police will also complete all necessary legal formalities. Prima facie, there are reports suggesting that firecrackers were being manufactured or stored here; we are currently verifying this. Only one house was directly affected, though some neighboring homes sustained minor damage.
